How TAG grades

TAG judges four things: centering, corners, edges and surface.

A machine scans the card and scores each of the four. Its report lists every mark it found.

Our guide to the grading scale sets the companies' scales side by side. Our centering calculator checks the first of the four.

Checking a TAG slab is real

Fake slabs exist for every company. Check the cert number, the label and the case before you pay.

Our guide to graded cards has a checklist that adds the signs up.

Is it worth it for your card?

Grading pays when the graded price beats the raw price by more than the fee and the postage.
