Reading a listing

Take a listing that reads: PSA 10 Charizard ex SIR, pop 1,200.

  • PSA 10: graded by PSA at the top grade.
  • Charizard ex SIR: the special illustration rare of that card.
  • Pop 1,200: PSA has graded 1,200 copies at that grade.

The lower the pop at a top grade, the scarcer the slab.

Common questions

What does ETB mean in Pokémon?

Elite Trainer Box. It is a boxed product with nine booster packs, card sleeves, dice and markers, in a box made to store cards.

What does raw mean for a Pokémon card?

Not graded. A raw card is sold as it is, in a sleeve or a holder. A graded card is sealed in a case with a grade on the label.
